Laminating & Cutting Systems for Hard Sweet Biscuits & Crackers
Sunbeam specializes in hard dough biscuit manufacturing lines. These lines are designed to handle elastic, low-fat doughs used for making crackers, soda biscuits, hard sweet biscuits, and marine biscuits.
The core process requires precise sheeting and sheeting layering (laminating) to achieve the characteristic flaky texture of crackers. Our lines incorporate advanced cut sheet laminators, multiple gauge rolls, rotary cutting units, and a scrap recycle system to return unused dough back to the sheeter.
Hard Dough Line Engineering
Our line ensures highly accurate sheet thickness and clean rotary cutting for flawless crackers.
Automated Laminator
Fitted with high-accuracy layering webs. Adjusts the overlap angle and layer count through the main PLC screen to create flaky puff structures.
Gauge Rollers (3 Stages)
Multiple sets of solid steel gauge rolls reduce the dough sheet thickness progressively. This avoids tearing the gluten structure of the dough.
Rotary Cutting Roller
Dual die rollers: first prints the docker holes and brand logo on the sheet, and the second cuts the biscuit outline for a perfect clean edge.
